7th graders had a chance to experience the Transportation Trailer from the Transportation Center of Excellence. This gave students an opportunity to try a variety of activities related to careers in all areas of transportation. We can't wait to have them back!

If your child attends United South Central and qualifies for free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program, your family may be eligible for SUN Bucks (also known as Summer EBT) — a new grocery benefit to help buy food during the summer months.
This program helps make sure children have access to nutritious meals even when school is out.

Community Service Day Success! The weather was perfect last week as our students headed out into our communities. From beautifying our neighborhoods to bringing smiles to seniors, they demonstrated the true spirit of service. So proud of their hard work and compassion!

On Friday, May 9, USC's senior class visited the Minnesota State Capitol and received a guided tour. It included a trip up to the Quadriga (golden horses), the House chamber, and much more. We had great weather and a special presentation by the Guard Band and Drill Team of King Harold V of Norway. This was done as a part of ongoing military diplomacy and a celebration of the 200th anniversary of Norwegian migration to North America.

USC Schools Phone System Update

Last week, students had the opportunity to visit the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. This was an opportunity to visit a college in the metro area, and continue to explore college and career options for after high school!
We are grateful for our incredible school nurses who go above and beyond to keep our students healthy, safe, and cared for every day. Thank you Nurse Taryn and Nurse Becky for all you do!
