It has been a busy week at USC! Our new stadium seating is in and our gym floor is in the process of being refreshed for the new school year.

USC Tech "Boot Camp" and robotics season kickoff details are out! Past and new potential team members welcome. The robotics season can work with athletic and fine arts schedules!

United South Central Schools has two cooks helper positions available: 8-1:30 (5 1/2 hour position) 10:30-1:30 (3 hour position) Applicants will be responsible for the following: Help lead cook prep food Help with fruit or salad prep Clean and sanitize the kitchen and work area Wash and put away dishes Have a friendly attitude towards children and co-workers Work in a fast-paced environment Lift 25 pounds Application deadline: August 15th or until positions are filled

On to State! USC Jr. Emma Heggen and Sr. Kadyn Neubauer qualified for the Class A State Golf Tourney following a 3rd and 4th place finish in Section 2A. Both golfers will hit the links at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, MN on Tuesday, June 11th. #prideUSC

Next stop: STATE Track & Field! Congrats to USC/AC Hurdler Brant Blosser on qualifying for the MN Class A State Track Meet in the 110 M High Hurdles! Brant will run at STMA in Thursday's prelims, with an opportunity to make the finals on Friday afternoon. Good luck Brant!

Roll Rebs! #2 USC Softball takes on #1 New Ulm Cathedral tonight in the Section 2A Championship series at Caswell Park in North Mankato with a State Tourney trip on the line. First pitch is slated for 5pm on Field 4. If the Rebels can down the Greyhounds in Game 1, they'd need to win a winner-take-all Game 2 at 7pm to advance to the Class A State Tournament. We need Rebel Country out in full force! It's a Rebel RED OUT and the weather is beautiful, so put on your best shade of red, and don't forget to bring that Rebel yell. Rebel Fan Reminder! It's playoff time and that means admission is charged at Section events. Ticket prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for Students, with no passes accepted. Plan ahead so there are no surprises at the gate. See you at the game! Go Rebs.

USC Activities Update (5/21): Section 2A Softball vs. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda has been postponed. The game will instead be played tomorrow (5/22) at 5pm at Thompson Park. The 5-8 Music Concert is on as scheduled for 7pm tonight in the Auditorium. Stay safe out there, Rebels!

Our Big Rebels enjoyed a beautiful afternoon with their Little Rebels to celebrate the end of the year! Thank you to our students in grades 7-12 who volunteer to spend time and mentor our elementary students.
