📅 School Board Meeting – Easton
The United South Central School Board will meet on Tuesday, February 17, at 5:30 PM in Easton.
🗣️ A Question and Answer session regarding the facilities process will be held prior to the meeting from 5:00–5:30 PM.
Community members are welcome to attend.

USC Speech Team finally attended the coveted, largest Speech Meet at Apple Valley - The Minneapple Tournament! These are the people they would most likely go up against at State. Liam Todd barely missed the Finals with 7th Place in Novice Creative Expression (1st Meet!) Aiden Edwards fought hard in the most competitive category this year and got 12th Place in Novice Humorous Interpretation Both our Novice DUO Interpretation groups barely missed the Finals with: Lilliana Berry & Maddy Sonnek in 7th Place (1st Meet!) And... Wheylan Haney & Cameron Swehla in 8th Place Onwards to Varsity! Danyelle Dickson & Jaelyn Stangler ranked in 15th Place in Varsity DUO Interpretation out of 26! And Danyelle double entered today in Program Oral Interpretation (POI) and landed in 14th Place out 22!!! She only had the script 2 days!!!

The USC Facilities Taskforce Meeting originally scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled to February 9. The meeting will begin at 5:00 PM and will be held in the Media Center. Thank you for your flexibility, and we hope to see you there.

The USC FFA Ag Mechanics Team had a great day at Monday’s regional contest at SCC-Mankato. The team placed 2nd out of 14 teams, earning a trip to the State FFA Contest in April. Individually, Noah Todd placed 1st overall out of 57 competitors. Riley Stevermer finished 12th, and Zayden Willette placed 14th. Nathan Glenn and Shaune Peterson round out the team. This is the contest where our hands-on, shop-focused students really get to showcase their skills—congrats to all involved!
