TONIGHT! School Board Meeting – Easton 📅
Just a reminder that the United South Central School Board will meet this evening, Tuesday, February 17, at 5:30 PM in Easton.
We’ll begin with a dedicated Question & Answer session from 5:00–5:30 PM focused specifically on the facilities process. If you’ve been following the conversation, have questions, or just want clarification on where things stand, this is your time. We truly want to hear from you.

We’re just a few days away from our second Community Engagement Meeting, and we hope you’ll consider joining us!

During this session, we’ll review updated enrollment trends, facilities needs, and our basic expansion plan. Most importantly, we’ll continue gathering feedback and perspectives from our community as we move forward in this process.
Your voice matters in this work, and we truly value the time and thought so many of you have already given to it.

Section Tournaments are getting underway! Please make note of the following information for Section 2AA Team Wrestling tonight (2/12), and Section 2A Gymnastics tomorrow (2/13).
Wrestling
#7 MR/USC vs. #10 GSL/LP @ 6:00pm. Winner advances to take on #2 Watertown-Mayer @ 7:15pm.

We’ll share what we’ve learned from our assessments, discuss potential options for a November 3, 2026, bond election, and hear your thoughts as we plan next steps together.

The MR/USC Wrestling team was given the 7-seed in the upcoming Section 2AA Wrestling Team Tournament.
The Longhorns travel to Watertown to take on 10-seed Glencoe-Silver Lake/Lester Prairie in the opening round on Thursday (2/12) at 6:00pm. With a win, they will advance to the Quarterfinals to take on 2-seeded Watertown-Mayer.
Winner will advance to the Section 2AA Semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 14th at 1:00pm at Maple River High School, with a chance to make the Championship bout at 3:00pm.
Section 2AA Individuals is also right around the corner. All Individual wrestling action will take place at Delano High School on Feb. 20th and 21st.

USC One Act Play requests your attendance to this year's play, "Obedience is Mandatory". It is a futuristic world where books are forbidden, and names are now designations. One ruler governs over the town, but when citizens begin to question & resist, she goes to the extremes to maintain control. Come join us for a wonderful early evening of theater! It is a 45-minute show.
