USC Activities Update - 1/21/25 With the temps warming up by afternoon, all USC after-school activities will take place as originally scheduled. These events include: GBB (8/7/JV/V) vs. Medford BBB (7/8/C/JV/V) @ Medford WR Practice @ MR Stay warm, and Go Rebels!

If you are an undocumented student, you will not complete the FAFSA -- but you may still be eligible to receive State financial aid and in-state resident tuition by submitting the Minnesota Dream Act application. Our Big Rebel Mentors had a holiday party with their elementary Little Rebels on Thursday. They spent time making holiday crafts and sharing a snack together. 70+ high school and elementary students are participating in the program this year!

Juniors have been creating Children's Books based on the novel they read in class. This past week, they brought them to the Kindergarten classes to share them! They also answered questions and asked the Kindergarteners about the characters to foster comprehension.

USC's 2024 food drive resulted in a victory for the 10th-grade class, who donated the most items of all USC's grades. All grades donated a total of 765 items. Today, the 10th grade class celebrated with a pizza party! Thank you Jake's Pizza of Wells for donating their pizzas!

At its December meeting, the USC School Board approved the formation of a community-based Facilities Taskforce to evaluate our district’s space needs and explore potential solutions, including possible building modifications. This group will collaborate to develop recommendations that align with shared goals and help USC best serve our students. Community involvement is essential to this process.
