15 high school students visited Mayo School of Health Sciences to find out about 3 of their many options in healthcare, outside of being a physician and nurse. The students learned about careers they didn't know existed and their pathway to pursuing a healthcare career.
The USC Speech Team attended yet another Meet this past weekend, at Two Rivers High School. This Meet offered both Novice and Varsity selections, so students chose which was best for them. With 800 students in attendance, from some of the best teams in Minnesota, our Junior Novice Duo, Danyelle Dickson & Maxwell Schull took 1st Place! Congratulations 🎊!

This past weekend, a talented group of United South Central Band and Choir students participated in the Gopher Honor Concert at Blooming Prairie High School! ✨
They dedicated their time on Friday, January 31st, and Saturday morning, February 1st, rehearsing alongside students from high schools across the area. Their hard work and passion for music culminated in a beautiful performance for the public on Saturday.

Students in the robotics team help partner Kiester Fire Department with the annual Fish Fry held this Saturday. This is also the day we will have our tournament in Wells. Stop by to cheer our teams with supper following for a good cause.

Some of our ETS 7th and 8th graders participated in a leadership day "Climb to the Top" at MSU-Mankato on Monday. Students spent time pushing themselves to go as high as they can on the climbing wall, along with participating in leadership activities, a tour and lunch at the dining hall. USC is proud to partner with ETS for leadership and college exploration activites.
The USC Speech Team attended their first Meet of the season Saturday at Irondale High School. This meet included 29 teams, mostly large, and our students rose to the occasion. We finished 20th, and the kids celebrated with some great food too!
One Act Play Update:
Shows at the Sub-Section contest are running approximately 30 minutes ahead of schedule. If planning to attend USC's performance this afternoon, please plan to arrive by 2:15pm.
