Seniors and Parents! If you are planning on attending any type of post-secondary school after high school, you should be planning to file the FAFSA when it open in late December. Both the student AND a parent/guardian need a FSA ID for the FAFSA. We will have computers available, along with a financial aid advisor, during conferences on December 7 from 4:30-6:30pm, to help make this before the FAFSA opens. See you there!

United South Central Schools is looking for a kindergarten long-term substitute teacher (1.0 FTE) to join our student-centered staff at USC Public Schools for approx. February 2, 2024, for approximately 12 weeks.
The USC district is a small school serving approximately 730 students in South Central Minnesota. Our K-12 building provides an intimate and student-focused approach to educating each of our students. The staff at USC works collaboratively to provide the best educational experience each day, and we are looking for an individual who would be able to assist with providing our student body with a cohesive overall experience and science education.
Qualifications:
Minnesota Teaching License
Verbal and written communication, management, organizational, and student supervision skills
Knowledge of current issues and challenges impacting public education and also the current developments to address these issues and challenges
Effectively use current technology tools to enhance personal productivity
Previous experience working with both primary and secondary students is preferred but not required for applicants
