Position Summary:
The United South Central High School is seeking a 1.0 FTE high school English Language Arts teacher for the 2023-24. Typical courses include English 11 and 12 and a concurrent enrollment English class. Credentials to teach one section of College English is preferred but will work with the right applicant to obtain credentials for concurrent enrollment teaching. Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with students, willing to learn and ask questions as needed, and a team player.
Qualifications:
Valid MN 9-12 English/Language Arts teaching license required.
Preference given to certification to teach concurrent enrollment classes.
Commitment to an equitable education experience for all.
Relationship building and ability to encourage students.
Consistent and reliable attendance.
